AGTA Coyote Classic Golf Tournament - Feb. 2, 2009 (Green Valley). Join the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) at the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort for a charity golf tournament that benefits the Tucson Police Officers Association's Special Olympics. WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship - Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2009 (Tucson). This cornerstone of the World Golf Championship (WGC) series will be played at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain. This luxurious golf resort is located 20 miles northwest of Tucson, in the city of Marana, surrounded by the lush Sonoran Desert foothills of the Tortolita Mountains. The widely popular Match Play event features five days of internationally televised competition between the best 64 available golfers from the Official World Golf Ranking, with a purse of $8 million. Dan Felix-Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Celebrity Golf Tournament - Feb. 26, 2009 (Tucson). The Colorado Rockies and Tucson City Golf offer an exclusive opportunity to play a round of golf at Randolph Golf Complex with a Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball player or coach, and help raise funds for needy children and disabled individuals in Tucson.
